Present At A Meeting

Beta Alpha Psi meetings are held each week to discuss professional topics and provide an opportunity for local firms to share their experiences with our members. Presenters are typically booked one month prior to the start of Fall and Spring academic terms. Most meetings are booked by the middle of August and December, respectively.

Presenting firms are asked to…

  • Deliver a presentation to our members on a topic of the sponsor’s choosing (usually a current topic or industry of expertise),
  • Provide a small selection of refreshments (optional),
  • Network with members before and after the meeting.

If you are interested in presenting at a meeting, email the chapter president at

Listed below is what you can expect for an average Beta Alpha Psi meeting. Additional accommodations can be made with advanced notice by contacting

Firms can expect 20-30 members to attend the meeting on average (based on Spring 2016 data).

A computer with a projector and internet access is available in the meeting room. If you require other equipment, please contact as soon as possible. A computer lab can be used in place of the regular meeting room, but availability is on a first-come-first-serve basis.

We welcome and encourage firms to provide refreshments for the meeting, although it is not required. With advanced notification, your firm may choose to reimburse the chapter for providing the refreshments on the firm’s behalf. Please contact to coordinate the purchase. Pizza, sandwiches, and other easy-to-eat snacks are oftentimes the best choice.

Our guests can speak to the topic of their choice. For a list of possible presentation topics, click here. Of course, we welcome any new and unique topics in which a firm or professional has expertise.

Plan to present for 45-55 minutes including Q & A.
